In 1989, Jefferson's Cafe was born with food, love, culture and family as the primary foundational elements. Our mission not only revolves around contributing delicious food to the community but also focuses on being able to provide family and friends with a safe / comfortable place where they can feel love and at home.

Mr. J's story commenced in Mississippi, later migrating to New Jersey where his sister was based. He derived a passion for cooking throughout this time and although he did not yet possess a tremendous passion for the restaurant industry, he knew he could run an establishment better than anyone. He was at the right place at the right time. He got his wife involved and quickly grew from owning one location to acquiring a second.
